Kara Grant
Managing Director

Kara has been in the property industry for over 13 years, specialising in strata management for almost a decade. Kara's extensive experience includes the management of a broad-range of strata schemes across WA comprising residential, commercial, mixed use and strata-titles resorts and hotels.
​
During her time as Head of Department for one of WA's largest strata management firms, Kara was responsible for managing all operations and a team of 10 staff through a period of significant growth and change.
Kara's passion for the industry and eagerness to drive progress later lead her to the peak industry body, Strata Community Association WA, where she worked closely on reforms to the Strata Titles Act and introduction of the Community Titles Act, the implementation of the Strata Management Practice Standard and the development of education programs. Kara was also a member of Consumer Protection's Property Industry Advisory Committee during this time.
After nearly three years in this role, Kara's desire to apply her knowledge and experience directly to helping people with the management of their strata schemes lead her to establish Strata Life WA.

Kara has owned strata property over several years and has gained first hand experience as an owner, investor, resident, council of owners' member, Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer. This experience gives Kara a unique insight into the challenges faced by her clients and a genuine desire to make strata ownership as easy as possible for them.

Kara has a Diploma in Management and is one of few SCA Accredited Level 2 Certified Strata Community Managers in Western Australia, which reflects her years of experience, education and ongoing professional development.
Alex Tiede
Director

Alex has progressed his career in property for over 12 years. During this time he has held senior sales and management roles in the established residential sector with one of Australia's leading real estate brands, and has also worked extensively with numerous leading apartment projects in Perth and on the eastern seaboard for one of Perth's largest project marketers.
​
Throughout his career, being involved in the planning and sale of new apartment projects gave Alex an insight into what people were looking and hoping for when choosing a strata property to either invest or live in. This motivates him to ensure that our clients continue to experience the best that strata living has to offer.
Having completed an MBA and Diploma in Real Estate Services, Alex enjoys combining his vast and varied property experience with the business management tools he has learned.

Alex enjoys helping our clients to take a strategic and holistic approach to the management of their strata scheme by going beyond the basic, routine functions to help them find ways to maximise the value of their property and protect the safety of their investment.
